Belgian compliance
Belgian law, without thinking about it
The rules change often and mistakes are costly. Nivelo applies the ones that affect your quotes, invoices and reminders.
VAT, line by line
21, 12, 6 or 0%, with the breakdown by rate on every document.
The 6% VAT note, printed automatically
Renovating a home more than ten years old: the legal note replaces the customer's certificate.
Reverse charge and exemption
For a VAT-registered customer (the co-contractor) or under the small business exemption: the right note, the right total.
Structured reference and QR
+++ and check digits calculated, and a payment QR code the customer scans with their banking app.
Reminders by the rules
Private customer: free first reminder and capped compensation (Book XIX). Business: interest and €40 (Law of 2 August 2002).
Peppol, straight up
Mandatory between businesses since 2026. Nivelo prepares the UBL file; sending via Peppol isn't done yet.
In the customer's language
Quotes, invoices and messages in English, French, Dutch or German.
Data in Europe
App and database hosted in Paris, 264 km from Brussels, under the GDPR.
Nivelo helps you apply the rules; choosing the rate is still up to you, or your accountant.
