An honest AI, your data in Europe

Written rules that nobody can get around on the phone, and data that stays yours.

The receptionist's rules

An honest AI, clear rules

Your customers stay your customers. The receptionist follows strict rules that nobody can get round on the phone.

  • Announced from the first sentence

She says she's a virtual assistant. You can change the wording, not remove it.

  • No diagnosis, no firm price

She offers slots and can quote your call-out fee, nothing more.

  • Safety first

Gas, CO: safety advice, referral to 112 and an instant alert. No appointment while there's danger.

  • No audio recording

Nothing is recorded by default. The transcript is announced, and the caller can refuse it.

  • Data in the European Union

The app and its database are hosted in Paris.

  • Your data stays yours

Each business only sees its own calls, customers, jobs and invoices.

Your data

Your questions

Does the caller know they're talking to an AI?

Yes. In her very first sentence, she gives your business name and says she's a virtual assistant. You can change the wording but not remove the announcement: the EU AI Act requires it.

What does she do if there's a smell of gas or a CO alarm?

She asks the caller not to touch any switch or flame, to open the windows and leave the building, then to call 112 or the network operator. She books nothing and alerts you straight away, until you confirm you've received the alert.

Can she give a price or a diagnosis?

No. No diagnosis, no repair advice, no firm price. The only amount she can quote is your call-out fee, if you've entered one. A quote request becomes a callback request, with the need and the contact details.

Does she replace the emergency services?

No. If there's danger, she points the caller to 112 or the network operator and alerts you. She replaces neither the emergency services nor your judgement.

Will calls be recorded?

No audio recording by default. The conversation is transcribed to pass the request on to you: the receptionist says so at the start of the call, and the caller can refuse. They then simply leave a message.

Where is the data stored?

In the European Union: the app and its database are hosted in Paris. Each business only sees its own calls, customers, jobs and invoices.

Why Paris and not Brussels?

Our hosting providers don't have a data centre in Belgium. Paris is their nearest region, 264 km from Brussels: your data stays in the European Union and under the GDPR.

How long do you keep transcripts?

90 days: every night, Nivelo deletes the transcript and summary of older calls; the customer, address, reason and appointments stay in the app. Today no calls are taken, so no transcripts exist.
